What is a Della Yellow customisation?

Customisation takes items from the back of your wardrobe and transforms them into your chosen design, using remnant fabrics. You can enjoy trends sustainably while avoiding unnecessary manufacture of new garments from scratch and keeping your old clothes out of landfill.

How does the customisation process work?

It's easy! First, purchase a customisation on our website. We'll send you an envelope containing a folded bag and a pre-paid postage label. Place your clothing garment in the bag, drop it at your local post office, and we'll handle the rest. We'll complete your chosen customisation and send it back to you.

What is the cost of shipping for customised garments?

Shipping for customised garments is £4. This fee covers the cost of the pre-paid bag for sending your garment to us and the shipping fee for returning the customised item to you using Royal Mail Tracked 48 service.
Shipping for ready-made items including our offcut scrunchies and totes is £3.

How long does it take to customise my garment?

We aim to complete your customisation within 10 working days after receiving your garment in the pre-paid bag. Please note that processing time may vary based on the complexity of your customisation.

Can I return or get a refund for customised garments?

Customised garments are unique and tailored to your preferences, making them non-refundable. However, if you believe there is an issue with the quality of the customisation, please contact our customer support team at hello@della-yellow.com within 30 days of receiving your order, and we will review the matter.

Is my garment suitable for customisation?

Make sure your garment fulfils the 'Which garment can I send?' criteria, and have a look at the example photos under each design.

Will my garment still fit me?

The size of the item will not change. For example, the waist and hips on a pair of jeans will have the same measurement when customised into a skirt. Similarly, the chest measurement on a jacket will be the same when customised into a vest.

Do you offer international shipping?

Currently, we provide shipping exclusively within the United Kingdom. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

Can I track my customisation order?

Yes, we'll send you email notifications when we receive your garment in the pre-paid bag and when the customised garment is dispatched back to you. You can track your customised item's journey with Royal Mail Tracked 48 service.
